"Oh, will you play the horse for me?" "With pleasure!" "Very kind of you; you won't take my goat, then, will you? I say, have you played an animal part before son?" "I once played the part of a monkey." "Naturally. If you'll just come around the side of the stage door, Mr. Darwin, and put on the horse's skin... there now face the first persons' chorus - thank you, sir"... music plays. |
