| Description | Multicolored souvenir, Firestone Rubber Company coasters from the 1939 New York World's Fair. Each coaster has embossed view of the Fair’s modern style Firestone Building, with its great rotunda entrance surmounted by a brilliantly lighted fin, which soared 100 feet in the air. The building housed a modern tire factory, producing a finished tire every four minutes. Seen behind are the Trylon and Perisphere, emblems of the Fair. |
