| Description | Rectangular Art Deco style container of white and maroon marbleized phenolic plastic with detachable lid. The container's base and lid have molded concave ribbing. The fitted lid has a molded decoration at the center of a winged horse in relief. The American Stationery Company offered the faux marble box for $.75 with the purchase of their "Big 450" stationery package. It was molded of phenolic resin and first offered in 1937. |
