| Description | Powder blue toy telephone receivers attached to runner as removed from the mold. Eight pieces were molded on one ‘shot’. Seven remain attached, one has broken loose. Isyln Thomas was the General Manager of the Ideal Novelty and Toy Company where he was responsible for the design and molding of toys such as this telephone, which was one of the most popular toys in the immediate post-World War II sales season. Thomas subsequently founded the Thomas Manufacturing Corp. |
